Welcome to Camborne and Redruth Motor Club Ltd

This year sees the Camborne and Redruth Motor Club enjoy it’s 70th Anniversary and plans are being made for celebrations later in the year. Thanks to the founding members of this Club who set the wheels in motion on 22nd September 1947 we have been able to continue to deliver quality off road motorcycle events all supported by an active and enthusiastic Committee and a large and appreciative membership.

Throughout 2016 we staged no less than 25 events together with 5 training sessions and for 2017 there will be no less than 26 events ranging from Trials, Hare and Hounds and our famous road trial, the Smokey Trial. Amongst our Trials events we include the monthly Oset Cup Trials for electric bikes and we are fortunate to be just one of only eight clubs in the UK hosting dedicated Oset Cup Trials with the full support of Oset themselves.

The Camborne and Redruth Motor Club is committed to encouraging and developing young riders into the sport of off road motorcycling and young riders from 4 years and upwards may start on safe electric bikes with our Oset Cup series and then progress  through the various sizes of electric bikes and then on to petrol fuelled bikes within our dedicated Youth Trials.

The Club now has an active group of  7 approved ACU Instructors / Coaches  to assist at our training days which will cater for Basic Off Road Skills and Hare and Hounds and Enduro events and  there will be Trials Training and practice evenings from Spring onwards with our ever popular barbeques when weather permits.

CRMC and it’s Committee is committed to providing safe and professional opportunities for all riders and prospective riders to take part in off road motorcycle sport and there are also opportunities for anyone to come and assist at our events as marshals, observers or helpers.

There are also social events, and this year we are delighted that Peter Hickman, British Superbike rider, Isle of Man TT fastest newcomer and Macau GP winner has agreed to spend an evening talking about his TT laps and presenting our awards in February. Every one of our events and activities throughout the year is  open to members and friends and details will always be included within this CRMC website and our newsletter, please come along, you will all be made very welcome.

Thank you for reading this introduction to our website and we look forward to seeing you at one of our events soon.
